In May 2012, it reached a strategic cooperation relationship with the Dalian Ocean University and established a research and development room. The Dalian Ocean University's agricultural product processing and storage discipline leader and Dr. Hujianen of Tokyo University of Agriculture and Engineering in Japan served as the technical head of the R&D department. The company purchased R&D equipment such as a fully automatic Kaiserding Nitrometer, a spectrophotometer, and a fully automatic microbial culture box. It began research and development of marine biotechnology, and developed and produced marine collagen extracted from fish skin and fish scales, and developed a series of functional oral liquids, foods, and drinks that added collagen peptides. The transformation and upgrading from traditional industries to marine strategic emerging industries has opened a new page for the development of starfish.
